DIY: Studded Bustier (part uno)

So, sitting here wanting to

..

Share my DIY studded bustier , but the only access I have to instant photos, is my lovely web cam. Mer. It was bought on ebay of course, one of the many cheap little objects I have collected from ebay. (It was 5.99) Yeah with that said, I dont expect much but here are some pics anyway of what it looks like now, I really want to add some more detail, but not sure if I should just keep it simple? Let me know what you think, and I will have more pics of it (on my bod)..shortly I just have to make it to the store (to develope of course) :X

studded bustier

So before I noticed the lovely heart charm of this vintage bustier, I started using silver studs, it just wasnt right so I switched over; luckily I had some nice gold studs too. I got ths studs from ebay, of course and they were really cheap :) bonus yes.

studded bra

Eh, so all I did was carefully bend the back of the studs and then poke them throw the cup of the bustier, this was my first time studding anything and it seem like the logical way to do it ! And luckily there was no lace or fabric hurt in the making of this DIY.:D

studded DIY

And again sorry for the poor quality of the pics, better ones up soon. I also have another lovely bustier I got from a vintage store on ebay, that I would like to dazzle up here soon. I will be purchasing some more intertesting studs soon, rather than the typcially pyraminds, I really want to play with it and see what I can do . I have been inspired by so many other DIY with studs, that I hope to continue to use them as my current muse to create. Hopefully that DIY will be coming soon. :)

Oh McQueen.....

Sad that he is no longer with us earthlings.....he made fashion seem to have more value than vaucousness.

Floral Clogs, Rebels, and Alexander

Floral Slouch Clogs?

mmmm...yes .

These are a new pair of dream shoes from Free People, a little outrageously priced (248$), but they are seemingly a work of art. Many would say that they are weird or even ugly, but to blend in is so boring, and I adore anything that doesnt glare the feeling of typical.

Rebel8, just came out with a new line for women and men's wear, and you can go see it at 80's purple. From what I viewed, this shirt caught my eye ...hmmm...Marilyn with tatts? I love it , hot, Also jealous because I did'nt come up with the idea first.

Is that Kate in Alexander McQueens?

umm yeah I think thats what my eyes are seeing.

I really like this photo, so I had to share...and his shoes he made are like sculptures from gods.

If ....baby jesus was a shoe.

I'd like to call this one broken ankle.

Lindsay Lohan goes 90's Kate Moss?

In the latest issue of Italian magazine MUSE, Lohan did a spread in spirit of the late/ great realationship between Kate Moss and Johnny Depp that ended in 98'. I love Lindsay despite the hated backlash, who really cares what she does away from her "job". The spread is pretty racy, and insinuates a 3 some? what what? Well I think it's pretty hot, but really could they have used any more ciggarettes? I'm really becoming disturbed with the over-use of that theme in fashion spreads, but touche ! I guess I dont read all those trendy mags anyways.

...Lindsay & friends

Photographer Yu Tsai told Page Six: “I was always fascinated by Johnny Depp and Kate Moss, and when I asked Lindsay to do a shoot, she jumped at the chance. It was all about her being sexy, channeling Kate from the ’90s. When I suggested adding another girl, Lindsay invited Sofia.
“The three of them were very sensual and provocative, but Lindsay understands this piece was created not for any sensational value other than artistic integrity,” Tsai said. “There was never a discussion about pushing the boundaries. She was totally comfortable with the nudity as long as it had artistic integrity. "

“When you see her nipple, it just happened in the moment. She was playing the role of Kate Moss — you’re at a party and you are with a guy you really love and another girl.

“She is stunning and radiates in the pictures. Lindsay is incredibly focused where it comes to her career and fashion is her passion. It’s raw, it’s exposed, this is her at her best. She told me: ‘I want to make this iconic.”

John Issac & Friends :Provactive Art

Follow my blog with bloglovin

John Issacs, an amazing artist-reflects on this era or (generation) of technology of the internet.. a lost generation; a parasitic group of humans digesting the earth in all its glory and beauty one day at a time. If your not already ...disencouraged by what you see on the news and hear about, they will tell yourself for you...that you have no chance if you dont get caught up in the war and the nazi politics that transpire today then maybe you will be arrested for disagreeing with the government on the account that you may be a"terrorist".

So what do we do?

start talking about this more often?

"We live in an age of such glaring contradiction that we have grown to accept such grotesque inbalance and injustice with a world-weary reluctance. Moral outrage at the current state of the planet only seems to last so long before one becomes accustomed to a sense that mankind as a species is powerless to effect any kind of change on the seeming inevitability of its own self-destructive evolution".

We hide from ourselves the way we hide from each other.

Big Black Middle Finger?
(Yes I love this one. Its says alot, oh the glory of a photo.)

"Playing with the extremities and taboos of the modern day norm, Isaacs’ art reveals a number of uncomfortable truths that, he believes, we are all, to some extent, conscious of."

The matrix of amnesia
98'

"Running alongside the seeming directness and simplicity of John Isaacs’ work there is a pervasive current of unease and anxiety that identifies our modern way of life and its thinking as somehow warped, disjunctive and off balance."

I use to think I could change the world but now I think it changed me.

Oh and I just love this last one I wanted to share! Its so primative and natural, being entangled with nature, paying close attention to the still air and the suttle hyms of the wind and the leaves that cover the limbs of trees.

I really love and enjoy all the aspects of Issacs work. From his sculptures to his photos, to the scalped monkey smoking a ciggarette everything is shouting, but usually there is no visible form of speech to be found. His outlook, and inspiration for his art ,inspires me. I am effected everyday from my growing awareness of the reality in which we live in; the generation that I am apart of and all the things I feel obligated to do , to work on . It's like the more you begin to look into things, the more you wish you had'nt.

Since I'm talking about provactive art.....

                                           Dash Snow. 07-13-09

Dash was infamously known for his polaroids, shocking, raunchy, and just plain honest as they could be. He was a go-getter if you will a real-life come from nothing entrepenuer when it came to photography and life that is. Not ever expecting such credability or even fame, Snow trucked on, partied on and became a face on the underground seen or heck his polaroids did at least. Prety good for a 13 year old that ran away from home and just started taking random pictures everday.

Dont Cry for me.

Shoes. Shoess. Shoezz :London's Fashion Week's Finest

Ok, so I have not been able to reflect on London's Fashion Week yet, considering I may be a tad late on posting about it, but I came across some beautiful creations today and felt the urge.

Gasp!)

Sass & Bride

These happen to be very gorgeous, who does'nt want some chains with their pumps?
I love these!

Emilio de la Morena

I love the colored heels, its a great accent to the shoe, and the contrast of the beige and bright turquoise is amazing as well as the black and baby pink.

Roksanda

Feathers? Yeah the middle one reminds me of a dead bird. But I love the first pair, just enough detail, and a suttle feather on the back heel, I love it.

Osman

These are quite interesting, and my mind ask how would you walk in these? But heck its fashion, is it ever really about being comfortable?

Kinder Aggugini

Amazing. I love the different prints on the bows, and the mix of texture here. Flamboent and edgy at the same time.

Mark Fast

I dont know if the shoes of Mark Fast's 2010 spring/summer collection accurately compare to the clothing covering the bodies. I will be making a small post later and include some pics from the show, very pleasing collection I must say. And these pumps? yes please.

Matthew Williamson

These remind me of Count Dracula, yup thats all I got. I love the bow accents , they are pointy at the ends, very amusing to the eye.

        Louise Goldin

Studs, Spikes, I am obsessed with anything studded right now of course as it appears to be so "trendy" this minute. But put them on some pumps or booties or hell any pair of shoes, and that just makes the hot points sky rocket into outerspace. Fierce, deadly, makes me want to kick ass, with them on of course. I love the colors she used and the arrangement of the spikes, must wear with socks.... amazing:) Louise will also be doing a line for Topshop featuring shoes that mimic those seen at her Spring 2010 show

and will hit stores some time soon!

Jaeger London

Um, YEAH and these are my favorite shoes from Londons Fashion week Spring/Summer collections. I saw these and I drooled instantly, (wow I'm a dork ).What are the elements used here wood? suede? shiny metal? Great. I love the middle pair, gray/silver is my favorite hue right now.
