JOIN TOGETHER IN THE NAME OF THE GREAT LIGHT

The Age of Conscious Evolution
by Barbara Marx Hubbard

We are being presented with the greatest opportunity
that humanity has ever consciously faced together: the
effort to co-create a planetary shift in time to avert
global catastrophe by helping humanity cross the gap
from “Here”—our current breakdowns—to “There”—our
future of infinite possibility.

Why is this invitation so urgent?
Because our current condition of over-growth in our
finite Earth system is simply not sustainable.
We will either evolve toward a more sustainable, compassionate, and creative
global system, or we face the real possibility of devolution and destruction of our
life support system and of much of life on Earth—within our own or our children’s
lifetime!

This dangerous reality is motivating us to enter into what I call the first age of
conscious evolution—that is, evolution by choice and not by chance. What is being
required of us is to learn to co-evolve with nature and co-create with Spirit.
Why do I believe that the timing is so urgent? Why now?
For the first time in our conscious history we are being given the opportunity to
guide and ease our transition to the next stage of evolution. This situation is new
for humanity, for we are the first Earth species to consciously face evolution or
extinction.

This condition is new for humanity, but it is not novel for the universe. Evolution
operates by “punctuated equilibrium,” long periods of slow change, punctuated by
apparent sudden jumps. For billions of years, nature has evolved through creative
leaps, progressing from energy into matter, to planets, to primitive life, to animal
life, to human life. When we look back to our 13.7 billion year history, we can see
nature’s lessons as recurrent patterns:

. Crises almost always precede transformation.
• Problems are evolutionary drivers.
• Nature takes jumps through greater synergy and cooperation within and among
species.

These lessons are a great wake-up call for the maturation of humanity. When a
system reaches a “chaos point, it tries to right itself by going backward to the old;
this is why we see reactive movements everywhere now. An evolving system must
seek out new structures and systems toward a new configuration—or face rapid
decline. According to system theorists, small positive fluctuations in a sea of social
chaos can jump the system to a higher order.

The opportunity being offered to us is to co-create positive innovations and new ways of being, behaving and living as a new humanity. The new good news is, we are now intentionally co-creating humanity’s Great Shift to the age of conscious evolution. Now it is our turn in evolutionary history to co-create a new society, a new humanity, a new Earth.

A NEW DAY.A NEW DAWN.

Note:Please disregard all prior post on this blog.

I would like this blog too undergo a shift (seems fitting ;)) head forward with a new direction and focus solely on the evolution we are now fully immersed in...there is really NOTHING else more important too discuss now. I have (like most of you, I am sure) this relentless desire to give back to the "whole" lately...this urge to accomplish....take action, be apart of the strive and drive to the evolving human consciousness movement ...into the higher dimensions...Asking myself and the great spirit.."How can I be of service at this time?" "How can I help the whole.." too come full circle too move us swiftly and graciously through this shift? "What can I do!" And the answer? Well nothing that can not be done from the very chair I am sitting in right now....as much as we feel this great PUSH (which is the push for us to evolve to our higher selves) make our dreams a reality ...this very moment... we still simply ...must remain and practice silence...calmness of the heart and mind...returning too our HEART every time. Though we feel out of control , anxious, fearful, during this process. So much focus on the politics of this shift , the "2012" prophecies...yet how can we deny? the greater forces at work here? The light will prevail. This is a evolution of human consciousness ! NOT an end time, apocalyptic zombie scenario (sorry guys, I know..i had hopes for this too). There will be great change yes....an ending of systems that no longer will or can work in the higher 4th and 5th dimensions.. That is why you will see great political/social change and the crashing of certain structures that have been in place for hundreds of years...because we are entering a NEW AGE. This has been foretold by all ancient religions and peoples. Mark this as no COINCIDENCE. MANY HAVE LONGED TO ENTER HUMANITY AT THIS VERY TIME...AND GUESS WHAT IF YOU ARE READING THIS....THIS IS YOU! YOU CHOSE TO BE HERE...TO HELP CONSTRUCT THE NEW WORLD THE HEAVEN ON EARTH...So take that as a great GREAT ! honor...and BE HERE FOR IT. This is the time To remember what we have forgot. Who we truly are...UNITE once again and be ONE. THE RETURN OF THE MOTHER GODDESS. THE RE- BALANCING OF ENERGIES- YIN / YANG. Too be in a place of serene stillness. To meditate on the whole ...tap into the universal mind. By simply asking spirit how can I be of the greatest force of light? What do you will me too do ? Is the greatest thing you can do at this time...and it will change the world..bring peace to us all. Can you believe that? How fricken AMAZING IS THAT?

REMEMBER COMPASSION.GRATITUDE.

"WE HEAL THE PLANET WE HEAL OURSELVES. WE HEAL OURSELVES, WE HEAL THE PLANET.IT'S OUR CHOICE. WE CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE."

That is all. ask.listen. and it is given.

So, with that said...(wooo...) (breath..) I feel alot is coming up , and I intend to share this ...my own inner feelings and rewiring that is going on...with you..the other...in hopes to shed some light...too be in a sense striped naked ..expressing my fears and anxieties..that I am sure you all are feeling..I know it would be refreshing for me too read and relate at this time with others ...so I also want too know how you are taking this all in? Maybe no one will read this explosive crap that will come out here on these pages...but it doesn't matter...i have been asking and asking how i can personally contribute too the chaos...so I write...and it would only be selfish not too share...maybe inspire someone too do so also...I know all this reaching out business is alot of work...but how else will we change?grow?

"A chunk of dirt thrown in the air breaks to pieces.
If you don't try to fly,
and so break yourself apart,
you will be broken open by death,
when it's too late for all you could become."

THANK-YOU

BLESSINGS!!!

Infinite Arms will guide me , Yim Yames said so ; while I was just sittin on the dock of the bay.

Well... its been a while since I have made a post here on this blog, and frankly I supose you could call it a loss of inspiration..(partially a lie) or lack of desire to write, spend the time or sweet pure laziness. I guess I became a little confused about the direction of the blog as well as whether I really wanted to write about fashion but more so the culture;so  as I was sitting on the toilet when I woke up this mourning .. pants mid shaft I was thinking "I really should write today.."  with the rements of the late night drunk bite sprinkled on my shirt , I was feeling refreshed..! As I stumbled into the kitchen (pants still down) because only then  I remembered  I am out a toilet paper ....still. (It be a slight drag to live alone.)

So.. I don't have much to talk about, that's a lie . But there are lots of things going on and this is an exciting time!!! , this is August 2010 which is an interesting time to be alive and of course as everyone knows the hype of 2012 has been growing at a steady pace. I have been watching documentaries, and listening to who's who in the spiritual guru world, and its all pretty well.... amazing. Another obvious situation to bring up is the Gulf Coast Oil "spill" , it has been a complete nightmare exspecially for those that live in the one of the gulf states. I mean my immediate reaction towards the whole thing is ...It just makes me pissed..and I feel human ..because it loads me up with sadness and anger towards these people the carelessness..the  lives that had control of a situation like that and chose to turn the other cheek before shit went up in flames. Lets not indefinetly get into that whole pile of mess..(... but I will leave you with some news on that). I mean to be all serious and stuff...basically nothing else seems more relevant to speak of, and so conveniently so it appears that everyone is doing a fine job at keeping quiet about it and remaining ignorant to the situation ...not that you don't know because you live in Utah but that you hear it every time you turn on the news, but what restaurant you will eat dinner at tonight or what did Lady Gaga wear tonight seems to be a tad more titillating to the senses at the given moment. Well I guess whats new. Personally,  I happen to live in Florida on the west coast...so yes it hits home directly for me but I would hope so either way if situation was otherwise. This is the new 9/11. (too soon?...) Ahhhhhh...
Anyways leaving you with some videos and stuff to check out.

The Millennials: Blogs, Myspace, the Mp3....

A little Reflection on the Generation we have spun.

fashion,style,indie,scene @ the lost generation

(hahaha.)

"People see rock and roll as youth culture and when youth culture monopolised by big buisness, what are the youth to do ?

Do you have any idea? I think we should destroy the bogus capitalist process that is destroying the youth culture."

-Thurston Moore

So getting a little away from fashion today because I wanted to share some thoughts that have had be cynically looking at the general art scene today. I came across this interesting interview a month or so ago with Thurston Moore ( Sonic Youth) , and it really got my mind buzzing with his ideas and take on the music scene  of today along with the corporate control, contemporary art, and  everything in between. He is an older musician about 50 or so but dont be misconstrued he still rocks. I guess what I mean by that is he has been around for you know a few decades. The music of the 60's, 70's has in no doubt made an immense impact on music verses the music of today, most elder rockers consider rock and roll to have met its end-game years ago dating somewhere around the late 70's. A statement to be argued with but then again, our "oldies" are going to be what? Britney Spears? Lady Gaga? ....Nickleback? Hopefully is there is a (GOD) our generation will not be known for those artist, (not to knock anyone's hustle.) This leads me to further investigate the situation, why are we a group of copy cats?  A bunch of kids stealing music from the internet instead of rummaging through daddy's old records....taking what has been done and claiming it as your own . I mean everything has an inspiration , but to master something or create something new , you must look at the origin of the subject....which seems to be overlooked today since you can just as easily make a beat on garage band instead of picking up a real instrument. But thats not what sells...music has expanded in a sense and Big buisness , Corpotae Chains  know that... you have access to more media and music then ever before , there are hundreds of more ways to SELL SELL SELL to you and get your attention to the masses, I mean everyone uses some source of social networking sites these days, which creates an extemem advantage. They want to have their own mark branded  on the skin of the youth  for their own selfish endeavors. So what are the Millennials?

:
The Millennials grew up amidst a time during which the internet caused great change to all traditional media. Shawn Fanning, a Generation Y member, founded the peer to peer file sharing service Napster while in college. Though the RIAA won a lawsuit and shut down the service in 2001, as a result of these innovations in technology the Millennials had access to more music on demand than any previous generation, and have forced the recording industry to adapt to new business models.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Generation_Y

Snip-it from article at wikipedia

In some ways, the Millennials have become seen as the ultimate rejection of the counterculture that began in the 1960s and persisted in the subsequent decades through the 1990s. This is further documented in Strauss & Howe's book titled Millennials Rising: The Next Great Generation, which describes the Millennial generation as Civic Minded, rejecting the attitudes of the Baby Boomers and Generation X. Kurt Andersen, the prize winning contributor to Vanity Fair writes in his book Reset: How This Crisis Can Restore Our Values and Renew America writes that many among the Millennial Generation view the 2008 election of Barack Obama as uniquely theirs, and he writes about this generational consensus building as being more healthy and useful than the counterculture protests of the late 1960s and early 1970s, going as far to say that if Millennials can "keep their sense of entitlement in check, they might just turn out to be the next Greatest Generation".However due to the Global financial crisis of 2008-2009 this generation is also beginning to be compared to the Lost Generation of the early 20th century.

Due to my lack of consistency with my thoughts, ideas, or when I get on a roll, I loose focus. And therefore I dont have a link for the Thurston Moore interview that I'm refering too, but have another one for you that you should check out. It be lovely to get some feedback on what you guys think? Not sure I have any answers, but Moore on the other hand is speaking my language.

DIY: Studded Bustier (part uno)

So, sitting here wanting to

..

Share my DIY studded bustier , but the only access I have to instant photos, is my lovely web cam. Mer. It was bought on ebay of course, one of the many cheap little objects I have collected from ebay. (It was 5.99) Yeah with that said, I dont expect much but here are some pics anyway of what it looks like now, I really want to add some more detail, but not sure if I should just keep it simple? Let me know what you think, and I will have more pics of it (on my bod)..shortly I just have to make it to the store (to develope of course) :X

studded bustier

So before I noticed the lovely heart charm of this vintage bustier, I started using silver studs, it just wasnt right so I switched over; luckily I had some nice gold studs too. I got ths studs from ebay, of course and they were really cheap :) bonus yes.

studded bra

Eh, so all I did was carefully bend the back of the studs and then poke them throw the cup of the bustier, this was my first time studding anything and it seem like the logical way to do it ! And luckily there was no lace or fabric hurt in the making of this DIY.:D

studded DIY

And again sorry for the poor quality of the pics, better ones up soon. I also have another lovely bustier I got from a vintage store on ebay, that I would like to dazzle up here soon. I will be purchasing some more intertesting studs soon, rather than the typcially pyraminds, I really want to play with it and see what I can do . I have been inspired by so many other DIY with studs, that I hope to continue to use them as my current muse to create. Hopefully that DIY will be coming soon. :)

Oh McQueen.....

Sad that he is no longer with us earthlings.....he made fashion seem to have more value than vaucousness.

Floral Clogs, Rebels, and Alexander

Floral Slouch Clogs?

mmmm...yes .

These are a new pair of dream shoes from Free People, a little outrageously priced (248$), but they are seemingly a work of art. Many would say that they are weird or even ugly, but to blend in is so boring, and I adore anything that doesnt glare the feeling of typical.

Rebel8, just came out with a new line for women and men's wear, and you can go see it at 80's purple. From what I viewed, this shirt caught my eye ...hmmm...Marilyn with tatts? I love it , hot, Also jealous because I did'nt come up with the idea first.

Is that Kate in Alexander McQueens?

umm yeah I think thats what my eyes are seeing.

I really like this photo, so I had to share...and his shoes he made are like sculptures from gods.

If ....baby jesus was a shoe.

I'd like to call this one broken ankle.

Lindsay Lohan goes 90's Kate Moss?

In the latest issue of Italian magazine MUSE, Lohan did a spread in spirit of the late/ great realationship between Kate Moss and Johnny Depp that ended in 98'. I love Lindsay despite the hated backlash, who really cares what she does away from her "job". The spread is pretty racy, and insinuates a 3 some? what what? Well I think it's pretty hot, but really could they have used any more ciggarettes? I'm really becoming disturbed with the over-use of that theme in fashion spreads, but touche ! I guess I dont read all those trendy mags anyways.

...Lindsay & friends

Photographer Yu Tsai told Page Six: “I was always fascinated by Johnny Depp and Kate Moss, and when I asked Lindsay to do a shoot, she jumped at the chance. It was all about her being sexy, channeling Kate from the ’90s. When I suggested adding another girl, Lindsay invited Sofia.
“The three of them were very sensual and provocative, but Lindsay understands this piece was created not for any sensational value other than artistic integrity,” Tsai said. “There was never a discussion about pushing the boundaries. She was totally comfortable with the nudity as long as it had artistic integrity. "

“When you see her nipple, it just happened in the moment. She was playing the role of Kate Moss — you’re at a party and you are with a guy you really love and another girl.

“She is stunning and radiates in the pictures. Lindsay is incredibly focused where it comes to her career and fashion is her passion. It’s raw, it’s exposed, this is her at her best. She told me: ‘I want to make this iconic.”

Follow my blog with bloglovin

John Issacs, an amazing artist-reflects on this era or (generation) of technology of the internet.. a lost generation; a parasitic group of humans digesting the earth in all its glory and beauty one day at a time. If your not already ...disencouraged by what you see on the news and hear about, they will tell yourself for you...that you have no chance if you dont get caught up in the war and the nazi politics that transpire today then maybe you will be arrested for disagreeing with the government on the account that you may be a"terrorist".

So what do we do?

start talking about this more often?

"We live in an age of such glaring contradiction that we have grown to accept such grotesque inbalance and injustice with a world-weary reluctance. Moral outrage at the current state of the planet only seems to last so long before one becomes accustomed to a sense that mankind as a species is powerless to effect any kind of change on the seeming inevitability of its own self-destructive evolution".

Big Black Middle Finger?
(Yes I love this one. Its says alot, oh the glory of a photo.)

"Playing with the extremities and taboos of the modern day norm, Isaacs’ art reveals a number of uncomfortable truths that, he believes, we are all, to some extent, conscious of."

The matrix of amnesia
98'

"Running alongside the seeming directness and simplicity of John Isaacs’ work there is a pervasive current of unease and anxiety that identifies our modern way of life and its thinking as somehow warped, disjunctive and off balance."

I use to think I could change the world but now I think it changed me.

Oh and I just love this last one I wanted to share! Its so primative and natural, being entangled with nature, paying close attention to the still air and the suttle hyms of the wind and the leaves that cover the limbs of trees.

I really love and enjoy all the aspects of Issacs work. From his sculptures to his photos, to the scalped monkey smoking a ciggarette everything is shouting, but usually there is no visible form of speech to be found. His outlook, and inspiration for his art ,inspires me. I am effected everyday from my growing awareness of the reality in which we live in; the generation that I am apart of and all the things I feel obligated to do , to work on . It's like the more you begin to look into things, the more you wish you had'nt.

Since I'm talking about provactive art.....

                                           Dash Snow. 07-13-09

Dash was infamously known for his polaroids, shocking, raunchy, and just plain honest as they could be. He was a go-getter if you will a real-life come from nothing entrepenuer when it came to photography and life that is. Not ever expecting such credability or even fame, Snow trucked on, partied on and became a face on the underground seen or heck his polaroids did at least. Prety good for a 13 year old that ran away from home and just started taking random pictures everday.

Dont Cry for me.

Shoes. Shoess. Shoezz :London's Fashion Week's Finest

Ok, so I have not been able to reflect on London's Fashion Week yet, considering I may be a tad late on posting about it, but I came across some beautiful creations today and felt the urge.

Gasp!)

Sass & Bride

These happen to be very gorgeous, who does'nt want some chains with their pumps?
I love these!

Emilio de la Morena

I love the colored heels, its a great accent to the shoe, and the contrast of the beige and bright turquoise is amazing as well as the black and baby pink.

Roksanda

Feathers? Yeah the middle one reminds me of a dead bird. But I love the first pair, just enough detail, and a suttle feather on the back heel, I love it.

Osman

These are quite interesting, and my mind ask how would you walk in these? But heck its fashion, is it ever really about being comfortable?

Kinder Aggugini

Amazing. I love the different prints on the bows, and the mix of texture here. Flamboent and edgy at the same time.

Mark Fast

I dont know if the shoes of Mark Fast's 2010 spring/summer collection accurately compare to the clothing covering the bodies. I will be making a small post later and include some pics from the show, very pleasing collection I must say. And these pumps? yes please.

Matthew Williamson

These remind me of Count Dracula, yup thats all I got. I love the bow accents , they are pointy at the ends, very amusing to the eye.

        Louise Goldin

Studs, Spikes, I am obsessed with anything studded right now of course as it appears to be so "trendy" this minute. But put them on some pumps or booties or hell any pair of shoes, and that just makes the hot points sky rocket into outerspace. Fierce, deadly, makes me want to kick ass, with them on of course. I love the colors she used and the arrangement of the spikes, must wear with socks.... amazing:) Louise will also be doing a line for Topshop featuring shoes that mimic those seen at her Spring 2010 show

and will hit stores some time soon!

Jaeger London

Um, YEAH and these are my favorite shoes from Londons Fashion week Spring/Summer collections. I saw these and I drooled instantly, (wow I'm a dork ).What are the elements used here wood? suede? shiny metal? Great. I love the middle pair, gray/silver is my favorite hue right now.
